Beagles

 This is a beagle. Some people think that they are hunting dogs, but I disaree. The breed of the beagle is medium-sized dog. They are scent hounds and when used in hunting they are bred to sniff out game. (I am against that even though we need to eat). They are popular since they have a good temper which is sorta' mellow, and playful. They also are popular because they are small. There are several breeds of beagle, talbot hound, North County beagle, miniature beagle,  southern hound, and the harrier. These dogs come in colors such as, black, brown, white, and grey. They can also have a mixture of these colors (very much like a sheltie only different snout and bred differently). This is one of my recomended pets!

Bloodhounds

  Bloodhounds are dogs bread for tracking and guarding. They have a very mellow additude. Sometimes people raise them to fight (which is illegal). They weigh from 36 to 50 kg. They are the shorteset living dogs, 6.25 yrs. To learn more go to:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bloodhounds

Dachshunds

  These dogs are nice pets. I hope to get one someday. I have a nice dog already anyway. Okay, enough chit-chat time to talk about the facts. These dogs are mainly just fun pets. These dogs are called dachshunds, only they are nicknamed weiner dogs. The name means beaver dog. The sizes of this dog are small with a full-grown at 16 to 28 IBS (7 to 12.7 kg). Dachshunds are fun! The Siberian Husky

Image:Siberianhusky.jpg This is a Siberian Husky which is a working sled dog used for shipping goods and for dog sled racing. It is recognized by its thick coat, ears, tail, and markings on the coat. This dog is what I classify as a sled dog. These animals are mild-mannered and tame. So get a dog! For more information got to the URL below.

Border Collies

  Border collies are the same type of dog that a sheltie is. They herd sheep, goats and other animals just like the sheltie. They are very active and are very friendly. They are some of the greatest pets. You should get a dog and I recomend either a sheltie or a border collie. For more info go to the address below.

Shelties

Shetland sheepdogs are very cute! I myself have a sheltie and if you look at my profile photo you'll see my dog. I'll show you a photo of a sheltie:
 Shelties have different colors on there coats such as brown, white, gray,or black. Shelties are very active animals. Since these dogs are so athletic they are tooken to competions such as, agility, flyball, tracking, obedience, showmanship, and herding. The sheltie in the picture is looking confused.
